Still no response from the mailing list, but here is my latest debug: I found that pgadmin3 1.18 does work on ubuntu 14.04. The Server Status shows data and heading/columns properly. I then set about to compile pgadmin3 source 1.18 on another Ubuntu machine (15.04) because it is not available in the distro or PPA for Wily. I got this done and it also works properly re the Server Status windows. In so doing I ensured that all similar dependencies were installed for the machines on which I have admin3 1.20 and 1.22. But still to no avail. (except the -dev versions, so I yet have to try this - these of course were needed for the compile of 1.18). At this point it appears that pgadmin3 1.20/1.22 does not work properly on Ubuntu. I may continue to try on different distros, but I am getting tired of it. The problem with pgadmin3 1.18 is that it is not supposed to be compatible beyond postgresql 9.3, so to use it I will have to down-grade to postgresql 9.3. It does work with 9.5 but with dire warnings. It would be really nice to hear from someone out there. At least so I stop trying out things that are a waste of time. Please advise: should I submit a bug report for pgadmin3 1.20/1.22 on Ubuntu 15??
