8.0.2 is out, now with patent-free (and faster!) 2Q replacing ARC.  As
libpq has changed versions, you will need to rebuild any apps that
linked to it.

Tom Lane has put an optimization for the min() and max() aggregates in
CVS TIP which allows them to use indexes.

Bizgres project creates and builds a PostgreSQL "distribution",
including experimental core mods, for an optimized Business
Intelligence version.

script designed to help users with initial performance configuration
for PostgreSQL. In time it'll hopefully attract a GUI interface as
