2ndQuadrant announces the release of pglogical 2.3.1 [https://www.2ndquadrant.com/en/resources/pglogical/], the next generation in logical replication for PostgreSQL. Implemented entirely as a PostgreSQL extension, pglogical is a logical replication system that serves as a highly efficient method of replicating data as an alternative to physical replication.
This release presents several fixes that prevented users from upgrading to v2.3.0, also the features listed below from the previous release, have been removed and will be added in a later release:
- Allow replicating tables and sequences to different names on the target node
- Add option to only synchronize the structure of replicated relations
