I am trying to use postgres with the CYGWIN binaries for WIN/2000.  I start=
ed initdb with '--debug' and it got as far as

postgres -boot -x! -C -F -DDatabase -d template1

and then just sat there with 'postgres' consuming CPU, but not appearing to=
 do anything.

Has something similar been reported before.
