Thread: dst 2007?
This blog discusses the US dst 2007 issue. http://www.edgeblog.net/2007/daylight-saving-time-the-year-2007-problem/ Unfortunately, this change has not received the attention it deserves, so many IT shops have not yet started, and there are only 60 days to get patches tested and deployed. That blog points to: http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-announce/2007-01/msg00004.php as a response to the problem. I don't see any mention of the topic in the accouncement or in the release notes. Josh does mention Canada and Austrailia fixes. Is this topic covered somewhere in the pg docs?

It's the Canadian and Aussie changes that are today's headache. regards, tom lane
