As you said, I removed the docs from ADDLOCAL. Then the installation procedure started. But after that I got an
errortelling unknown username or bad password .can u help me with this problem.here is the entire code
msiexec /i postgresql-8.3-int.msi /qr INTERNALLAUNCH=1 ADDLOCAL=server,psql SERVICEDOMAIN="%COMPUTERNAME%"
SERVICEACCOUNT="abc" SERVICEPASSWORD="postgres" SUPERPASSWORD="45td45" BASEDIR="E:\postgres"
