Hello everyone,

I just discovered your world this week ! I had a demo and I'm still
shocked !!! Hey, I was microsoft until today !

I was in a process to build an Intranet with a DNA design using
II5.0, SQL Server 200, COM+ and MSMQ but now .......

    Now I'm switching to Linux,OpenACS and PostGreSQL ...... but I don't
know nothing about it !

Can someone could tell me if I will still be able to have my Windows
Application Server be able to access my new PostgreSQL DB on a separate
server?
Are there some case studies I coujld read?

Thank You and long life to your community (Our community !!!)

Sure, use ODBC to make the conneciton. PostgreSQL perfers to run on a
Unix-like operating system like Linux or *BSD, but you can run it on
WinNT/2000 using cygwin.
