Thread: table name as variable within Function
Here is an example of what i would like to do...

BEGIN
DECLARE
theTable ALIAS FOR $1;

result = COUNT(*) FROM theTable; -- this is where i need help
RETURN result;
END; 'LANGUAGE 'plpgsql';
