FYI, Tom has added a lot of comments to this page.  I have also updated
the HTML because some browsers were not showing the existence of

It would help if you'd remove the stuff that is either done or clearly
not 8.4 material.  (I guess you should have a separate page for the
latter --- but if you want us to treat this as an 8.4 TODO list,
it can't stay here.)

Again, I dumped what I had so people could see it;  it is not trimmed
--- not sure how clear I have to be so people understand that.

When it is trimmed and I think it is a complete 8.4 open items list, I
will let you know.
