Thread: elog and MemoryContextSwitchTo

Hi all,

Is the following code well formed?

oldContext = MemoryContextSwitchTo(newContext);
....
if (something_bad) {  elog(ERROR, ...);
}
...
MemoryContextSwitchTo(oldContext);


or do I have to ripristinate the oldContext before to issue the elog ?
