Thread: libpq

hi 
I run redhat linux 5.2 and have problems when im trying too compile the
first example
in www.postgresql.org/docs/programmer/libpq-chapter4118.htm.
i do "cc -o  pqtest pqtest.c"

and i get 
"/tmp/cca025511.o(.text+0x311): undefined reference to PQclear"
the error message is for all the PQ function.

please helpme:)
