Thread: pgAdmin 4.1.1 cannot run on win7
Hi! I tested without much trouble the previous version (pgAdmin 4.1.0) on Windows 7 pro 32bits (spanish). But since the new version 4.1.1, the application fails and closes when trying to connect to the database: (PostgreSQL 9.2.4 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) 4.6.3, 32-bit). After login, it shows the databases hosted on the server, but fails when you double click on one of them. The strange thing is that retrying many times, it worked once (only once). regards! Hi,
It seems to run on my Win7 … I started it, connected to a DB, did a few things and I left it alone for an hour (I went out to lunch).
It crashed while I was away …

Csaba

Too "old" PostgreSQL version (9.2)?
Keep using PgAdmin3...

Considering that Postgres 9.2 itself is still officially supported for another year, I wouldn't expect pgAdmin 4 to not support it. -- Darren Duncan On 2016-10-28 3:46 AM, André Cardoso wrote: > Too "old" PostgreSQL version (9.2)? > > Keep using PgAdmin3... > > 2016-10-28 8:42 GMT-02:00 arielgiomi <arielgiomi@clyfer.com.ar>: > > Hi! > > I tested without much trouble the previous version (pgAdmin 4.1.0) on > Windows 7 pro 32bits (spanish). > But since the new version 4.1.1, the application fails and closes when > trying to connect to the database: > (PostgreSQL 9.2.4 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Ubuntu/Linaro > 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) 4.6.3, 32-bit). > > After login, it shows the databases hosted on the server, but fails when you > double click on one of them. > > The strange thing is that retrying many times, it worked once (only once). > > regards! > Ariel Giomi
