Thread: Progress window not closing
Hi,
I started a VACUUM on a table from pgAdmin and a progress window opened as expected. Unfortunately the remote database was shutdown and restarted whilst the job was running and the process was killed on the DB server. When I got pgAdmin connected again the progress window popped straight back up (even though the vacuum is not running on the server) and I cannot find any way to get rid of it.
Can anyone suggest anything please?
Thanks
Steve

Apologies – should have given that information up front.
pgAdmin: V4.1
OS: MacOS Mojave 10.14.2
I have tried both restarting pgAdmin and restarting the entire iMac and each time the progress window reappears as soon as I reconnect to the affected server. The screenshot below shows the sessions currently running on the server and there definitely no vacuum process running.:
Thanks
Steve

What version of pgadmin are you running?
What O/S is it running on?
Have you tried stopping and restarting pgadmin?

I have done that and nothing at all happens. If I click the X to close the window it goes away for a few seconds and then immediately comes back again. I am going to try restarting the server and pgAdmin once more.
Thanks

Try to stop the process by clicking on the 'Stop Process' button (red button).
