Version 4.28 install issue

Hi,

I am having issues when I try to install the new version of pgAdmin 4.28 x64.

Below is the screenshot of the error message:

Hi,

Try running the installer with "Run as administrator". Looks like permission issues on your system.

Hi Aditya,

Running the installer as an administrator didn’t solve the problem.

Is there anything else I could try? I already tried downloading the file again for a few times, but no luck.

I used the same approach before and I didn’t have any issues.

Hi,

Since it is not able to replace the existing files, uninstall pgAdmin and install 4.28 might work. The issue is with your permissions.

Hello,

Make sure the pgAdmin4 server is not running in the notification area of the taskbar, If you see PostgreSQL Elephant icon in the notification area of taskbar then right click & Shutdown it, then you can try installing it again.

Thank you for your email.

I've already tried everything you said. However, the issue remains.

I will try uninstalling the previous version, restarting the system and then try installing the latest version from scratch.
